Jumping from corporate job to home based is not an easy task. Whether physically, emotionally or mentally.  You need to be prepare and you need to learn new skills aside from what you know to be a virtual assistant. It’s a decision that you alone can answer. Are you willing to take a risk? Do you have a discipline? Do you have the will to go out of your comfort zone?

 If your reason is bigger than your fears and doubts , then you can take the first step. I have my reasons and maybe the same as you. My main reason is  my family. Especially now that I have a 7 year old son.  I want to be there in his younger years.

Advantages and disadvantages of home based jobs

You need to learn on your own. Google will be your best friend as the experts always say. You need to invest in yourself, learn new skills, enroll in online courses for virtual assistants or you can watch you tube tutorials. As a start, you need an internet connection, a computer or laptop that depends on what kind of work you will have, as long as you are confident that you can do the job then you are good to go.

I enrolled in an online course as a first step to achieve my dream because I believe that luck only knocks to people who knows where to be at the right place and time.
